India TEC Amends MTCTE Phases III and IV

The Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) of India has issued a new Amendment to MTCTE Phase III and Phase IV products implementation.
1. There is no change in the implementation of MTCTE Phase III.
2. For MTCTE Phase IV, certification of ‘’EMI/EMC’’, ‘’Safety’’ and remaining ER parameters becomes mandatory from July 01, 2022.
3. As on the date of submission of test reports, the validity of test reports/results issued by TMC designated Indian Labs in respect of all parameters shall be up to five years.
4. As on the date of submission of test reports, the validity of test reports/results issued by foreign labs accredited by ILAC signatories and recognized labs of MRA partner country for technical parameters shall be up to two years in respect of products listed in Annexure II.
5. Test results/reports issued by labs accredited by ILAC signatories from non-border sharing countries will only be accepted.
