On 13 October, 2021, the Autorité de Régulation de la Poste et des Communications Électroniques (ARPCE) in Algeria issued DECISION N°52/SP/PC/ARPCE/2021 DU 13 OCTOBRE 2021, which supplemented the DECISION N°28/SP/PC/ARPCE/2019 DU 16 OCTOBRE 2019 to update the Type Approval Process For Terminal Equipment and Radio Equipment Intended to be Connected to an Electronic Communication Networks Open to the Public.
ARPCE requires importers to notify the regulator of the serial number and IMEI within one month of putting the devices on the market in Algeria.
