On October 18, 2021, Australian Communications and Media Authoritya (ACMA) issued a Public Consultation to seek comments or the future use of the 1880-1920 MHz frequency band.
There has been increasing interest in the 1880–1920 MHz band by current and potential new users domestically and internationally. Therefore, ACMA believes that it is necessary to review the frequency band and consult the public on the current and emerging uses of this frequency band.
All parties concerned can submit comments and suggestions to ACMA before 21 January 2022.
