On August 12th, 2022, the Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) in Argentina has introduced a change of criteria regarding the acceptance of regulatory labeling requirements on Renewal requests, with the aim of updating all approved devices to the RANATEL marking.
After consulting with the authority, here comes more details on the transition between the old and new label marking. The authority indicates that there is a three-year transition period after the latest renewal for devices that have already been approved.
It means for the latest renewal of approved devices, the RAMATEL labeling proposal according to Res. 854/2020 will be required for the submission. And for the next renewal, the approved devices must comply with the Res. 854/2020, formally showing the new RAMATEL labeling.
