Brazil ANATEL Releases eight New Acts that Impact the ANATEL Homologation Process

ANATEL in Brazil issued eight new Acts (including No. 4077, 4081, 4082, 4083, 4084, 4085, 4088, 4091) on July 31,2020. These new Acts will come into force after 180 days of their publication.
All these Acts are Operational Procedures to complement the Resolution 715 and provide deeper clarifications concerning:
• Operational Procedure for Technical Change in Telecommunications Product Approved by Certification or Declaration of Conformity
• The minimum conditions necessary for the designation of a Telecommunications Product Certification Body
• Exercising Rights and Complying with Obligations by Agents involved in Assessing the Conformity of Products for Telecommunications
• Operational Procedure for Conformity Assessment of Products for Telecommunications by Certification
• Operational Procedure for Approval of the Product Conformity Certificate for Telecommunications
• Operational Procedure for Recognizing Professionals as an Expert in Conformity Assessment of Products for Telecommunications
• Operational Procedure for Marking ANATEL Approval Identification in Telecommunications Products
• Operational Procedure for Selection, Evaluation and Qualification of Testing Laboratory for Purposes of Evaluation of Conformity of Products for Telecommunications
