MIC Vietnam Has Released Circular 17/2018/TT-BTTTT

MIC Vietnam has released Circular 17/2018/TT-BTTTT detailing spectrum allocation for fixed and mobile land radio applications use frequency within 30 MHz - 30000 MHz in order to re-allocate Vietnam spectrum and prevent radio disturbances. 
Pursuant to this Circular 17/2018/TT-BTTTT, 918 ~ 92 MHz band is high lighted and recommended for Short Range Devices especially for those RFID readers used in intelligent traffic systems (nonstop electronic toll collection systems). 866 MHz - 886MHz band is not listed in this Circular.
Circular 17/2018/TT-BTTTT of MIC Vietnam shall replace Circular 13/2013/TT-BTTTT and enter in effect since 28 Jan 2019.
In practice, due to having frequency management roll, local test lab Vilas 060 of MIC has refused to received test order for 866 - 868 MHz RFID recently. Because of this early implementation, to obtain MIC Type Approval for new 866-868 MHz RFID reader which local report is not available, importer need to submit for MRA reports and the Type Approval cert will not possible to be renewed in next 2 years renewal interval.
