SRRC New Regulation
China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced its plan to implement new SRRC regulations. Effective October 15, 2018, SRRC test fees will be cancelled and paid for by MIIT in order to reduce the transaction costs and burdens for manufacturers. Though fees are waived, devices still require SRRC certification and testing at an approved test laboratory, and must have the CMIIT ID approval number affixed.
