Bhutan BICMA Issues 26 GHz Frequency Band Plan
Following the public consultation on the allocation of the 26 GHz frequency band for IMT services on October 26, 2023, the Bhutan Information Communications and Media Authority (BICMA) officially released the "Bhutan 26 GHz Frequency Band Plan" on February 20, 2024.
According to this Plan, the n258 band, ranges from 24.25-27.5 GHz, is allocated for potential use for the IMT services, in particular, the 5G services.
