Bahrain TRA Publishes Technical Specifications For Type Approval

On February 28 ,2024, the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) in Kingdom of Bahrain has published “Technical Specifications - Requirements for Type Approval”.
Compared with the previous Regulations of “Type Approval for Short-Range Devices”, it is worth noting that this regulation adds technical requirements for the following frequency bands:
1.Add 5470 - 5725 MHz band for indoor & outdoor use.
2.Add 5925 - 6425 MHz band for Wi-Fi 6E technology.
This technical specification has officially come into effect and been implemented on the date of release. For information about Bahrain’s Wi-Fi 6E technology, please contact MRT team.
