Thailand OCPB Releases Labeling Requirement For Personal Computer And Computer Equipment

The Office of Consumer Protection Board (OCPB) of Thailand released an announcement titled “Personal Computers and Computer Equipment are label-controlled goods”.
The announcement established that computers and computer equipment must be labeled with specific information regulated by Consumer Protection Act in Thai language, or a foreign language accompanied by the Thai language, to avoid any misunderstanding of consumers. Except those products manufactured for export and not sold in Thailand are out of the scope.
The Announcement entered enforcement on 1 November 2023.
