Taiwan NCC Opens Public Consultation On Satellite Earth Station Equipment

On Oct 17, 2022, the National Communications Commission (NCC) in Taiwan has opened a public consultation on the draft Technical Specifications for Satellite Earth Station Equipment.
Scope of the technical specification：
1. Type approval of stationary satellite Earth Station equipment and Earth stations in motion
(ESIM) equipment for Geo-Stationary Orbit (GSO) satellite communication,
Frequency range:
10.7 GHz ~ 12.7 GHz, 13.75 GHz ~ 14.5 GHz, 17.7 GHz ~ 20.2 GHz, 27.5 GHz ~ 30 GHz
2. Type approval of stationary satellite Earth Station equipment and Earth stations in motion
(ESIM) equipment for Non-Geo-Stationary Orbit (NGSO) satellite communication,
Frequency range:
10.7 GHz ~ 12.7 GHz, 13.75 GHz ~ 14.5 GHz, 17.7 GHz ~ 20.2 GHz, 27.5 GHz ~ 30 GHz
