Nicaragua TELCOR Published Administrative Agreement No.005-2021

The Instituto Nicaragüense de Telecomunicaciones y Correos (TELCOR) of Nicaragua has published a new administrative agreement No.005-2021 regarding SRD and LPWAN and revoke the previous regulation No.004-2007.
The main change of the new regulation is to authorize the importation and commercialization of Short Range Devices (SRD) and Long Range Devices (LPWAN) in 915-928 MHz band, after obtaining the corresponding Certificate of Homologation, in order to avoid affecting the operation of authorized radio communications networks and services.
This authorization and establishment of the operating conditions of SRD and LPWAN by TELCOR is referring to the most recent versions of the ITU (International Telecommunication Union) Reports “ITU-R SM.2153” and “ITU-R SM.2423” as the main source of respective national regulations.
