European Commission Opens Public Consultation On Cyber Resilience Act

On March 16, 2022, the European Commission (EC) published a public consultation on the Cyber Resilience Act - new cybersecurity rules for digital products and ancillary services.
The Cyber Resilience Act would complement the Delegated Regulation of 29 October 2021 under the Radio Equipment Directive by setting up streamlined cybersecurity requirements covering a wide range of digital products and their ancillary services, which aims to address market needs and protect consumers from insecure products.
All parties concerned can submit comments and suggestions to EC before May 25, 2022.
