Reminder: Mexico IFT Extends Deadline for Comments on “Draft Technical Disposition IFT-011-2021 Part 3”

The Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFETEL) of Mexico has extended the deadline of a public consultation to January 13th, 2022, which is titled “On the Draft Technical Disposition IFT-011-2021: Technical Specifications of Mobile Terminal Equipment. Part 3. Cellular Broadcasting Service for notification of risk or emergency situations.” that opened on October 4th, 2021. All parties concerned can submit comments and suggestions to IFETEL before January 13th, 2022.
The main aim of the consultation is to establish technical specifications of mobile terminal equipment available to receive the risk notification or emergency alert message through the radioelectric spectrum or be connected to telecommunications networks.
