South Korea RRA Opens Public Consultation on 5G New Technical Requirements

Recently, the National Radio Research Agency in South Korea (RRA) has opened a public consultation on new technical requirement of 5G radio devices.
The following new requirements will apply to products that are only used in specific areas (buildings, etc.):
1. 28GHz frequency band: divided to 2 frequencies range from 1:
(1)26.5GHz ~ 29.5GHz -> 26.5GHz ~ 28.9GHz: revised for current requirement;
(2)28.9GHz ~ 29.5GHz: new, for 5G radio devices used only within a certain area.
2. 4.7GHz frequency band: new, 4720MHz ~ 4820MHz for 5G radio devices used only within a certain area.
All parties concerned can submit comments and suggestions to RRA before 24th September 2021.
