Malaysia SIRIM Extends Interim Type Approval for IPv6 Cellular Equipment Without Wi-Fi Interface

On 14th July 2021, the Malaysia Regulator - Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) has issued Announcement SQASI/CMCS/1/21/0014.
It announced that the implementation of the interim Type Approval for IPv6 cellular equipment without Wi-Fi interface is extended for another year, effective from 10th July 2021, until further notice. During the interim period applicants must conduct the test with an available accredited laboratory and submit the test report to be evaluated by SIRIM.
