Samoa OOTR Issues Label Requirement for Type Approval Equipment

On 23rd June 2021, Office of the Regulator (OOTR) in Samoa has issued “Order of the Regulator No. 2021/T02”.
According to this Order, OOTR has approved a trademark as a symbol of approval of telecommunications equipment. This trademark will only be used by the manufacturer and importer once the Type Approval Certificate is granted with approved Type Approval Identification Code.
The trademark will be highlighted on packaging, warranty forms, instruction manual and leaflets, websites and equipment or devices.
The new order came into force on 23rd June 2021.
