Turkey BTK Holding All Type Approval Applications

Recently, we have been advised that Turkey Regulator - Bilgi Teknolojileri ve İletişim Kurumu (BTK) has halted all type approval applications as they reconsider the type approval process in Turkey.
BTK should be reaching a decision shortly regarding if they will continue issuing type approval letters, or accept RED compliance / CE marking for all products entering Turkey.
If BTK stops issuing type approvals, local importers would be responsible for maintaining valid Turkish user manuals and product labels in line with local regulations.
