Saudi Arabia Extended Validity of E-Certificates

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, The Saudi Standards Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has announced the following measures:

Conformity certificates registered on the Saber electronic platform that expire in March, April or May, will be automatically extended for a period of 3 months from the expiry date.

All test reports issued from accredited laboratories from 3 previous years will be accepted.

Saber is an e-platform that aims to register and issue conformity assessment certificates for consumer products before entering the Saudi market. These decisions were made to guarantee the continuity of importers and exporters working conditions.
