Chile Subtel Delays Implementation of Updated Procedure

Subtel in Chile has delayed the implementation of the new type approval procedure. The new procedure will be implemented starting July 1, 2020.  The following summarizes the current conditions for Subtel type approvals in Chile:

Applications submitted before March 2nd will be processed and completed based on the previous approval procedure

Applications that were submitted before March 2nd and were rejected for not complying with the new procedure may be resubmitted and will be processed under the previous approval procedure

New applications submitted until June 30th will be processed under the previous procedure, meaning module declaration letters + module reports to submit for a host application may be used

Applications submitted after June 30th will be subject to the new procedure, meaning only host test reports will be accepted.
