Mandatory Conformity Mark for Electronics and Electrotechnical Products in Morocco

The mandatory conformity mark for electronics and electrotechnical products became an important step that was made by the Ministry of Industry, Trade , Investment, Commerce and the Digital Economy of Morocco to confirm the safety of the products.

The conformity mark of Morocco for electronics and electrotechnical products should be affixed visibly, legibly, and indelibly to the electrical and electronics products or to its data plate.

Importers can affix the safety mark by themselves up to July 31, 2019. After this date, the manufacturers have to affix the mark to the product before its importation proving that the product complies with the essential safety requirements.
