Upcoming Changes in Safety Certification in Mexico
Starting from January 2019, some changes regarding to safety aspects will come in force in Mexico.
The changes relate to the official Mexican standards NOM-016 and NOM-019. These standards will be withdrawn and all essential requirements are going to be included in NOM-001.
Thus, technical requirements as well as test methods should be implemented based on the NOM-001 standards.
