Cayman Islands OfReg Issues Public Consultation On Wi-Fi 6E
On May 27, 2024, the Utility Regulation and Competition Office (OfReg) in Cayman Islands released document “ICT 2024 - 1 - Consultation on Short Range Licence Exempt Devices”, the purpose of this consultation is to seek the views of the general public, regarding proposed changes to the technologies and frequencies which can be used on a license-exempt basis for certain short-range devices.
It is worth noting that the OfReg mentioned technical requirements of 6 GHz frequency band which will be allocated for wireless LAN(Wi-Fi) in this document, details as follows:
