Mexico IFT Opens Public Consultation For Modification Of Telecommunication Matters

The Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFT) in Mexico released a public consultation titled “Draft Agreement by which the Plenary of the Federal Telecommunications Institute modifies the General Rules that establish terms and requirements for granting authorization on telecommunications matters established in the Federal Telecommunications and Broadcasting Law (LFTyR)”. 

The main purpose of the consultation is to improve the processing and resolution of authorization procedures of LFTyR by electronic means, enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, legal certainty, clarity, and transparency.

All concerned parties can submit comments and suggestions before August 21, 2024.
