South Africa ICASA Approval Expect Delay

On April 9, 2025, the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) issued a document stating that they are currently experiencing technical issues with their online type approval system, which has adversely impacted the processing of type approval applications. For now, ICASA's IT division is addressing the issue as a matter of urgency. However, delays in the issuance of type approval certificates are expected as a result. MRT will continue to pay attention to the latest news and provide timely feedback.
