India Released Draft Rules for Unlicensed Use of 6 GHz
On May 16, 2025, the Ministry of Communications of India published draft rules for the unlicensed use of the 5925-6425 MHz band, aimed at enabling Low Power Indoor and Very Low Power Outdoor Wireless Access Systems (WAS/RLAN), summarized as below.

1. Prohibited use on oil platforms.
