Chile SUBTEL Issued New Resolution 2219

To follow MRT news released on June 18, 2025, the Subsecretaría de Telecomunicaciones (SUBTEL) in Chile has recently released a new Resolution 2219, which amends the current Resolution 737 and Resolution 1985.

The main updates introduced by Resolution 2219 are summarized as follows:

1.       Confirmation of validity for existing SUBTEL certificates.

2.       More flexible QR code placement requirements.

3.       Streamlined technical requirements under Resolution 1985.
