Papua New Guinea NICTA Type Approval Updates

With the launch of the new application portal by Papua New Guinea’s NICTA, the type approval process and related rules have been updated. The key changes are as follows:

1.        All NICTA applications must now be submitted through the new online system.

2.        The validity period of Papua New Guinea approvals has been changed from permanent to three years. All existing approvals issued before 2021 have expired, and those issued after 2022 have had their validity changed from permanent to June
