NZ Spark Telepermit - Upcoming closure of services
Recently, New Zealand carrier Spark has decided to phase out the Telepermit System/Access Standards service by September 1, 2026. This decision reflects the declining number of applications received over recent years, the stability of the wireless market, and the reduced relevance of items historically approved under Access Standards. The Telepermit website and Public PTC Register will remain active until December 1, 2026, after which the website will also be decommissioned.
