Bosnia and Herzegovina Issues Technical Regulation on Appliances Burning Gaseous Fuels
On February 15, 2018, the Government of the Bosnia and Herzegovina published a Regulation establishing the safety requirements, conformity assessment procedures, conditions required to comply with the conformity assessment bodies, and procedure for their designation, as well as the sign and manner of conformity marking of the appliances burning gaseous fuels. This Regulation came into force on February 1, 2019.
The Regulation is applicable to:
appliances gaseous fuels that are intended for cooking, heating, hot water production, cooling and lighting.
This Regulation does not affect appliances intended for use in industrial processes carried out in industrial plants.
The mark should be clearly visible, legible, and indelible and appear either on the apparatus or on a nameplate affixed to it. Instructions for the installation, use, and maintenance of the appliances should be issued in one of the official languages of Republika Srpska.
