Philippines NTC Holds Public Hearing On Opening Wi-Fi 6E

On May 9, 2024, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) of the Philippines issued a notice announcing that a public hearing titled "Amending of Section 2 of Memorandum Circular No. 03-05-2007" will be held on the afternoon of May 23.
The proposed revision is as follows:
Adding 5925-6425 MHz for HIPERLANs and RLANs with a power limit of 25 mW EIRP (for indoor and outdoor use) or 250 mW EIRP (for indoor use only).
It is expected that NTC will issue an amendment of Memorandum No. 03-05-2007 in the future. MRT team will continue closely following up on developments as regard.
