EEC Updates Procedure For CoC and DoC

6 April, 2023, the Eurasian Economic Commission has made changes to the procedure for issuing certificates of conformity (CoC) and declarations of conformity (DoC), as outlined in EEC Decree No. 46. These changes allow for optional inclusion of additional information, unless separately required by national regulation of member states. The optional (additional) information includes digital identifiers for place of production, customs declaration registration numbers for imported goods used as samples, Global Trade Item Number (GTIN), as well as details related to periodic assessment of certified products and registered applications for certification work. These provisions will be effective for 24 months from the date of entry into force of this decision, which is 6 May, 2023.
