China SRRC Opens Public Consultation On Draft 0f Radio Frequency Allocation Regulation

On June 27, 2022, the Radio Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China issued a draft revision of the "Regulations on Radio Frequency Allocation of the People's Republic of China" for public comments.
Part of the content has been revised in the consultation draft, in order to meet the development needs of new radio technologies and new services, promote the rational and effective use of radio frequency resources, and maintain alignment with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Radio Regulations (2020 Edition). It is worth noting that the opinion draft mentioned that the radiolocation service in the 79-81GHz frequency band will be preferentially used for applications such as automotive radar.
All parties concern can submit comments and suggestions before July 31, 2022.
