Brazil - ANATEL Releases Public Consultation No. 27

On 7th June 2021, the RF regulatory of Brazil - Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (ANATEL) has opened Public Consultation No. 27, with the view to update the Testing Procedures for Assessing the Conformity of Restricted Radiation Radiocommunication Equipment, approved by Act No. 6506.
Involved devices and technologies are mainly as follows:
1.Wireless Broadband Access System for Local Area Networks operating in the band 5925 - 7125 MHz;
2.Level Detection emitter-sensor in the 76 - 81 GHz band;
3.Vehicle Communication System (Intelligent Transportation System - ITS) in the 5850 - 5925 MHz band;
4.System operating in the 57-64 GHz band, together with the Multigigabit System in the 57 - 71 GHz band;
5.Automatic Transmit Power Control System (ATPC) for Point-to-Point, Point-Multipoint or Multipoint-Multipoint Systems, in outdoor environment, for fixed applications, operating in the 57 - 66 GHz band;
6.Media Access Sharing System operating in the bands 5150 - 5350 MHz, 5470 - 5725 MHz and 5725 - 5850 MHz.
All parties concerned can submit comments and suggestions to ANATEL before 5th August 2021.
