Indonesia – SDPPI Issues Test Report Reference Page Requirement

On 7th June 2021, the RF regulator in Indonesia - Directorate General of Resources and Equipment of Post and Information Technology (SDPPI) has issued Announcement Nº 457/DJSDPPI.5/SP.04.09/06/2021.
This announcement introduces a new requirement when leveraging foreign test reports for the local type approval process. The main points of the Announcement are:
1.Applications for telecommunication equipment certification using test reports issued by an accredited overseas test lab must attach a reference summary of the Test Results Report that addresses the applicable local technical requirements.
2.The summary of the reference page for the Test Results Report must be issued by accredited overseas test lab.
The requirements in the announcement will take effect from 4th July 2021.
