2021, The 14th World Accreditation Day

In order to promote the development of certification, accreditation and testing in the world, IAF and ILAC jointly set June 9th as the World Accreditation Day every year. Today is the 14th World Accreditation Day, which is a common festival for countries all over the world to publicize and promote the work of certification and accreditation.
The International theme of the day this year is “Accreditation: Supporting the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”. According to The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by world leaders at the United Nations (UN) General Assembly on 25 September 2015, the positive impact of accreditation is closely related to People, Prosperity and Planet, and provides policymakers, businesses and other stakeholders with the solutions to implement, measure and monitor many of the objectives and targets contained in the SDGs, and the support to achieve them.
