Mauritania AR Issues Updated Type Approval Regulation

On May 24, 2021, Mauritania's Regulatory Authority (AR) issued new type approval regulations through resolution 42/2021/AR/CNR.
The most notable updates are as follows:
1.Any approved terminal or radio installation undergoing modifications, in terms of technical characteristics and / or in its name, must be subject to a new approval;
2.The renewal request must be submitted at least four months before the expiration of the period for which the approval was issued. And a commitment attesting that the manufacture of the equipment is continuing and certifying that it has not undergone any changes from the previously approved version;
3.All approved equipment must, prior to its marketing, be subject to marking by the applicant by an irremovable sticker bearing the number and date of approval.
