Israel MoC Expands Product List of Type Approval Exemption

On March 8th, 2021, Israel RF regulator - Ministry of Communication (MoC) released a new list of products which are exempted from type approval to encourage competition in the market of wireless products.
This concerns the following equipment in particular:
1.Products operating within the frequency band 2400 to 2483.5 MHz in Bluetooth technology according to the IEEE 802.15.1 standard, or in ANT / ANT + technology, which includes a built-in antenna, and their power does not exceed 100 mW EIRP;
2.Products designed only for receiving satellite positioning transmissions using a global positioning system such as GALILEO, GLONASS, GPS or BEIDOU;
3.Computer peripherals (mouse, keyboard);
4.Computer monitors;
5.Spare parts for mobile phones;
6.Wristwatches, other than cellular wristwatches.
