Australia ACMA Issued New Public Consultations

The Australia Regulator - Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) issued two public consultations on 9th March 2021, contents are summarized as follows:
1.ACMA is proposing to amend relevant class licenses to include references to equipment rules.
2. ACMA is consulting on the draft Radiocommunications Equipment (General) Rules 2021. The Act will be amended by the Radiocommunications Legislation Amendment (Reform and Modernization) Act 2020 (the Modernization Act) to modernize the legislative framework for spectrum management.
The consultation will be opened until 9th April 2021, during which all parties concerned can submit their opinions and comments to ACMA.
