China - MIIT Issued Public Consultation Regarding On Wireless Charging Equipment

On February 19th, 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China issued a public consultation regarding on the management of wireless charging equipment on the official website.
Involved wireless charging equipment are summarized as follows:
1. Mobile and portable wireless charging equipment
Operating frequency: 100-148.5kHz, 6765-6795kHz, 13553-13567kHz;
Rated transmission power requirements: less than 50W;
2. Wireless charging equipment for electric vehicles (including motorcycles)
Operating frequency: 19-21kHz, 79-90kHz;
Rated transmission power requirements: equipment working in the 19-21kHz frequency band, the rated transmission power is greater than 22kW, but should be less than 120kW; equipment working in the 79-90kHz frequency band, the rated transmission power should be less than 22kW.
The public consultation will be closed on March 20th, 2021, all parties concerned can send advice to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China before that date.
