Panama ASEP Issued Public Consultation No. 02-2021

On 22nd February 2021, the Telecom Regulatory Agency of Panama - Autoridad Nacional De Los Servicios Públicos (ASEP) issued Public Consultation No. 02-2021, in order to receive opinions and comments on the proposal for the modification of the National Frequency Allocation Plan (PNAF).
ASEP plans to establish new bands for International Mobile Telecommunications (IMT), allocating the Personal Communications Service and the Cellular Mobile Telephone Service in the bands from 2,300 MHz to 2,385 MHz and from 24.25 GHz to 27.5 GHz with their respective channeling; and establish the channel plan for the band from 1,427 MHz to 1,518 MHz previously allocated for IMT.
All parties concerned can submit their opinions and comments to ASEP before 18th March 2021.
