ARCEP Issue Public Consultation Regarding Frequency Allocation

On 1st December 2020, Burkina Faso Regulator - Authorité de Régulation des Communications Électroniques et des Postes (ARCEP) issued a public consultation concerning frequency allocation.
This consultation aims to collect the opinions of the various players on certain aspects of the frequency allocation process for the provision of Internet access services. The main aspects are as follows:
1.Frequency bands to be identified;
2.Technologies to be used as well as the duplexing mode;
3.The amount of spectrum and the size of spectrum blocks to be made available;
4.Methods of allocation of frequencies.

Comments from any interested parties should be submitted by email to the following address:secretariat@arcep.bf .The public consultation will officially close on 5th January 2021.
