Lithium Battery Test Laboratory (VNCA) of ExtendMax has been Designated by the Vietnam MIC for QCVN 101 Testing

VNCA Lithium BatteryTesting Laboratory of Vietnam Conformity Assessment JSC (subsidiary ofExtendMax Group) has been designated by the Vietnam Ministry of Information andCommunications to test lithium batteries for handheld equipment (mobile phones,tablets, laptops) at MIC Decision No. 1351/QD-BTTTT dated August 08, 2020 .

Pursuant to thedesignation decision together with the MIC legal documents including QCVN101:2016/BTTTT, QCVN 101:2020/BTTTT, Circular No. 11/2020/TT-BTTTT, andofficial guidance letter No. 2305/BTTTT-KHCN dated June 23, 2020, The VNCAlithium battery testing laboratory of ExtendMax has been designated by theVietnam MIC for testing lithium batteries used for handheld devices (mobilephones, tablets, laptops) according to the following technical regulation andstandards:

(1) QCVN 101:2016/BTTTT- Safety requirements (Currently MIC is requiring compliance to safety requirementsonly, not including transportation according to UN 38.3)

(2) IEC 62133-2:2017(equivalent to QCVN 101:2020/BTTTT - Safety requirements and accepted by theVietnam MIC to cover QCVN 101:2020/BTTTT - Safety requirements).
