Changes to Accredited Laboratory Lists for HKT and non-HKT Devices

The IndonesianRegulator - Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika(SDPPI) – has updated the accredited laboratories list whereby a paperwork TypeApproval application process can be followed. This updated list is effectiveimmediately, from 23rd July 2020.

As a reminder, apaperwork-only approach for applications to SDPPI is currently permitted forall devices if all test reports are from an SDPPI-accredited laboratory. In anyother case, local testing is required.

This requirement issplit into HKT devices (Cellular Phones, Handheld Computers, Computer Tablets)and non-HKT devices (all other categories).Both lists of accredited labs forHKT and non-HKT are now consolidated into one regulation -124 Tahun 2020. Thereare now 16 labs on the HKT list, down from 33. There are now 72 labs on thenon-HKT list, down from 150.

Both HKT and non-HKTlab lists are valid until 23rd January 2021.

MRT (Suzhou) is aaccredited lab for non-HKT.
