ACMA Proposed Amendments to EME Arrangements
The ACMA is seeking comment on proposed amendments to the electromagnetic energy (EME) arrangements to ensure requirements are applicable for 5G equipment.
The ACMA is proposing to amend the Radio Communications (Electromagnetic Radiation – Human Exposure) Standard 2014 to ensure equipment that will be operating on frequencies up to 6 GHz is tested in accordance with the latest international measurement standards and is compliant with label requirements for Australia's EME standards.
