New Requirements For China’s Network Access License Certification

On June 6, 2024, the Telecommunications Equipment Certification Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China issued a new requirement regarding Network Access License Certification. The details are as follows:
The "Commercial Cryptography" option has been added to the introduction of network access equipment for nine categories of equipment, including Base Station, Core Network, Mobile Terminal, Switch, Router, PON, OTN, PTN, and BNAS. When filling in the test information for equipment network access, each applicant is required to verify the commercial cryptography actually supported by the tested equipment and select it.
