Malaysia MCMC Issues Notice About 3400 MHz To 3700 MHz

On June 1, 2024, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) released Notice, declared that the class assignment issued by MCMC under section 169 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for fixed-satellite service earth station(s) and the ultra-wideband communication device(s) operating in the 3400 MHz to 3700 MHz frequency band will be cancelled, effective from June 1, 2025.
The usage of any equipment and devices in the aforementioned frequency band shall not be allowed from the above-mentioned date.
