Oman TRA Opens Public Consultation On The Draft Regulation For The Ultra-Wide Band Technology

On August 6, 2024, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of Oman released a public consultation on the Draft Regulation for the Ultra-Wide Band Technology.

The draft mainly contains the following information:

1.The Technical Requirements for License-Exempted Devices using UWB Technology in bands below 10.6 GHz;
2.The Technical Requirements for Licensed Devices using UWB Technology.

All parties concerned can submit comments and suggestions to TRA before September 2, 2024.
