Mexico IFT Opens Public Consultation on 64-71 GHz

On August 22, 2024, the Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFT) in Mexico released a public consultation titled “Draft Agreement by which the Plenary of the Federal Telecommunications Institute classifies 64-71 GHz frequency band as free spectrum and issues technical conditions for the operation of band”.

The main purpose of this consultation is about to classify the free use of 64-71 GHz and issue the technical conditions for devices operating at these frequencies.

All concerned parties can submit comments and suggestions before September 20th, 2024.
