Pakistan PTA Approves Wi-Fi 7

On 26th September, 2025, The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has granted approval for the adoption of the 6 GHz band (5925–6425 MHz), in line with parameters earlier approved for Wi-Fi 6E.

Wi-Fi 7 offers faster speeds, lower latency, and greater reliability, supporting advanced applications such as 8K streaming, AR/VR, and industrial automation. The additional spectrum aims to ease network congestion and improve connectivity across homes, businesses, and public services.
